County Executive Committee Member (CECM)

Purpose

Implement county and national legislation within the county, develop sectoral plans, manage departmental resources, and present policy proposals to the County Assembly.

Mandates

Often referred to as "County Minister" or "Executive". They are appointed by the Governor, approved by the County Assembly, and manage specific ministerial portfolios (e.g., Health, Finance, Agriculture).
